Danbury Craft Markets & Fairs

Due to the growing popularity of our events, we have now created an annual registration form for individuals and small businesses to register their interest in attending our events.

We have limited spaces at our events, with room for just 34 indoor pitches for Spring, Autumn & Winter craft markets, and a further 20 outside pitches are made available in the summer for those with their own gazebos and risk assessments.

Indoor pitches are given one six-foot trestle table and chairs.

Outside summer fete gazebo pitches – maximum size of 4×4 metre gazebo.  You must provide a full risk assessment for your gazebo pitch and will be expected to bring your own tables and chairs.

Typically pitches for all four of our seasonal craft markets and family days are filled at least 3 months in advance.  If you are applying later than this we cannot guarantee you a pitch but will add you to a waiting list.

All vendors and stallholders must have their own public liability insurance to trade at any of our events run by Danbury Parish Council.

Please note we do not allow electrical hook-up to our premises, you must be self-sufficient.

If you are allocated a pitch you will receive an email or phone call from our events coordinator and issued an invoice to be paid within 14 days of issue.  If left unpaid, we will assume you are no longer interested and allocate your pitch to someone else.

Location of pitches indoors; we allocate stallholders who have SEND a pitch against a wall or near an exit, do make us aware when applying for a stall if you are noise sensitive so that we can try to allocate you such a space.  Please be aware that we cannot guarantee you a pitch next to your friend or against a wall.  However, we will take into consideration any requests made at the time of your application.

Craft & market stall priority selection:

1. Locality to Danbury, Essex.
2. Handmade items and small independent businesses.
3. Limited to two charities at each event.
4. Limited to two MLM (multi-level marketing, such as Scentsy, Avon, Tropic, etc.) at each event

Food and drink vendor priority selection:

1. Locality to Danbury, Essex
2. Size of pitch required.   We are a small venue and have a very tight narrow access road to the rear of the centre.  If you are a larger vehicle please be aware that we are less likely to select you for our events.
